Heavy leather bondage & BDSM swings slings are a must for any serious play party. They can be fixed permanently in place or made to be easily removed and are usually suspended from ceiling beams or roof trusses. Most sex swings are made from leather, but there available cotton, nylon and rubber slings.

A secure fixing is extremely important, so is the method of suspension, which is usually by chain. The advantage of using chain is that it makes adjusting the height very easy and also makes a very handy way of attaching the little accessories you may need during your play session. For users that rent premises or are unable to attach permanent fixtures there are free standing supports available, made from either steel or timber.

It is most important that when suspending slings that any stresses on the leather be reduced by attaching the chain at right angles to the D rings. Chains which are not attached correctly exert tension on the leather, especially if this is in a direction not at right angles to the D rings. This place undue stress on the leather, rivets or studs and is a major cause of sling failure.

A regular cleaning of the sling with a warm mild soapy solution, followed by a liberal coating of leather dressing will add years to the durability of your sling.
