Once you gotten it in hand, you can definitely feel that this is a quality leather good and not some discardable "pleather" product. While I advise ordering well in advance of any particular event you desire to wear it to, as shipping did take just over a month; but once you have it, it will last. What I particularly like about the Chicago harness style is that it sits lower on the chest, so as to not put pressure under the armpits, while framing my upper chest.
